I met Adam at an Open Studios event and he had his marvellous geological map painting and his, what I always think of as his Sistine Chapel huge painting out - creation juxtaposed with fossils. His paint was so light, luminous and on a huge scale and so otherworld and yet only of this world - wonderful. He gave me a Devils toe nail which I cherish.

Adam has cropped up in so many places - exhibiting in the old Millets shop, at the Museum, at the geology weekend in the Subscription Rooms and continuing his artworld discovery and exploring new symbiosis.

I will miss looking forward to his next exploration and his sweetness and interest in so many aspects of our area and our planet.
